Oriente es lindo

Hola!

Ensimmäinen YFU:n retki takana. Keskiviikkona lähdimme heti aamusta bussilla Quitoon. Matka oli kahdeksan tuntia. Yövyimme Quitossa yhden yön ja suuntasimme torstaiaamuna kohti sademetsää. Matka oli tällä kertaa viisi tuntia ja matkan aikana saimme taas nauttia kauniista vuorimaisemista. Sen viiden tunnin päästä matka jatkui veneillä Rio Napoa pitkin meidän hotellillemme, joka oli Casa del Suizo. Hotelli oli hieno. Se oli mäen päällä ja Rio Napo kulki siitä ihan vierestä.

Ensimmäisenä päivänä meillä ei ollut mitään ohjelmaa, joten hengailimme uima-altaassa. Ja kävimme pienellä tyttöporukalla kävelyllä kylässä, jossa hotellimme oli. Tykkäsin kävelyreissustamme. Saimme nähdä taas erilaisen asuinalueen. Kylässä asui lähinnä Ecuadorin alkuperäisasukkaita, jotka puhuvat quitchuaa.

Käveleviä puita

Seuraavana aamuna lähdimme aamupalan jälkeen sademetsään. Kävelimme reilun tunnin mäelle. Aina välillä pysähdyimme kuuntelemaan kun opas kertoi jotain. Näimme muun muassa kävelevän puun. Se kasvattaa uusia juuria siten, että se voi liikkua jopa kymmenen metriä alkuperäiseltä kasvupaikaltaan. Näimme myös todella monia erikoisia kasveja. Mäen päällä meitä odottivat todella hienot maisemat sademetsän ylle ja mehutauko. Oli meinaan ihan hiukkasen kuuma. Metsäreissun jälkeen menimme rannalle, jossa meitä odottivat käsin sidotut lautat. Ja lähdettiin sitten liikkeelle lauttojen kanssa. Se oli aika kivaa. Ja tietenkin homma muuttui aika pian siihen että kaikkia vaan tönittiin pois lautalta. Vaikka ilma oli todella lämmintä, niin vesi oli kylmää! (Tai ehkä se tuntui vain kylmältä sen takia, että ilma oli niin paljon lämpimämpää)

Lauantaina menimme aamulla sairaiden eläinten hoitolaan. Se oli aika kiva. He yrittivät siis hoitaa eläimet kuntoon ja vapauttaa ne uudestaan, mutta joitakin ei vain voitu vapauttaa. Heti ensimmäisenä meitä oli vastassa oudon näköinen lintu, joka käyttäytyi hieman uhkaavasti. Se levitteli meille siipiään ja päästeli tosi matalaa ääntä. Mutta tämä kyseinen lintu päätyi seuraamaan meitä koko kierroksen ajan. Se lintu oli siis vapaa. Se oli kerran ollut hoidossa paikassa, mutta se oli jo vapautettu.

Kun olimme yhden lintuhäkin luona, kuulin yhtäkkiä kuinka joku mies sanoi puusta ”Hola!”, mutta se olikin papukaija. Mutta se todellakin kuulosti ihmiseltä. Näimme myös anakondan, joka oli hieman masentunut ja oli väärässä paikassa. Ehkä pelottavin oli musta miesten tappaja apina. Hän oli kuulemma muuten täysin terve, mutta kun hän oli vapaana metsässä, niin hänellä oli tapana tappaa kaikki urokset ympäriltään. Jopa välillä ollessaan häkissä se kiskoo katon päältä kulkevia urosapinoita alas. Apinoiden sarjamurhaaja. Pelottavaa…

Sieltä lähdettyämme lähdimme isoilla renkailla laskemaan jokea. Joki virtasi joissain kohdissa melko voimakkaasti. Se oli tosi kivaa. Ja me mentiin oikeasti melko pitkä matka niillä renkailla. Me vaan löhöttiin niillä renkailla ja annettiin virran viedä.

Nää on oikeasti ihan TODELLA isoja papukaijoja

Iltapäivällä menimme perhostaloon. Siellä oli todella paljon hienoja perhosia. Pienimmät perhoset olivat suunnilleen Suomen suuriinpien perhosten kokoisia ja suurimmat olivatkin sitten TODELLA suuria. Paikka oli jotenkin todella lumoava, vaikka maassa olikin aika paljon kuolleita yksilöitä. Siellä lenteli niin monia kirjavia perhosia. No toisaalta, mähän tykkään todella paljon perhosista muutenkin, kaikesta kauniista ja väreistä, joten… Ja olen todellakin todella iloinen, että mun äitini ja Stockan myyjä saivat minun ostamaan sen kameran kymmenkertaisella zoomilla, eikä vain kolminkertaisella.

Retki oli musta tosi kiva, vaikka mulla olikin melko huono olo koko paluumatkan kotiin. Aika moni on ollut tuo retken jälkeen kipeä. No mutta se on pikkuseikka. Reissu oli huippu ja sain nähdä niin paljon kaikkea hienoa.

First trip with YFU has passed. We went to Quito on Wednesday morning. It took eight hours. We slept one night at Quito and on Thursday morning we took a bus ride to the rainforest. After five hours in the bus we continued our trip by boats down to the River Napo to our hotel, which was Casa del Suizo. The hotel was great. It was on the top of the hill and the River Napo run beside of it.

On first day we didn’t have any programs so we just spent time at the swimming pool. We went to the village in small group. Our hotel was in small village. I really liked our walk in the village. We saw something different. There lived like native Ecuadorians in the village. And they spoke quitchua.

Next morning we went to the rainforest after breakfast. We walked over one hour to a hill. At times we stopped to listen to our guide when he told us something. We saw for example a walking tree. It can grow up new roots so that the tree can move ten meters from initial growth of position. We saw also really exotic plants. On the top of the hill the beautiful scenery was waiting for us. And we had also a little juice break. We were so hot. After rain forest we went to the river. And then we went continued our way with ferries. Well people started to push each other’s to the water really soon. Even the weather was really hot the water was really cold! (Or maybe the water just felt really cold because the weather was so hot)

On Saturday we visited the centre for wounded and displaced tropical rainforest animals Amazónico. That was nice. They tried to help animals and then release them. Unfortunately they can’t do that every time. For the very first we were greeted by very strange looking bird who was acting a little menacing. It spread us its wings and made ​​some really deep voices. But the bird ended up to follow us through the whole round. The bird was free. It had once been treatment out there, but it had already been released.

When we were visiting one bird cage I heard how one man said “Hola!” from the tree. But it was a parrot. But it really sounded like a man. We also saw an Anaconda, which was a little depressed and in the wrong place. Perhaps scariest was the black monkey how killed male monkeys. He was reportedly an otherwise perfectly healthy but when he was free in the forest he used to kill all the males around him. Even when he was in the cage, he pulled off male monkeys witch were walking on the roof of the cage. Serial killer of monkeys. Creepy…

When we left from there we left down the river with big tires. The river flowed at some points quite strongly. It was really fun. And we actually went quite a long way with the tires. We just laid on the tires and gave the flow to take us.

At the afternoon we went to the butterfly house. There were a lot of beautiful butterflies. The smallest ones were like the biggest ones in Finland and the biggest ones were REALLY big. The place were really enchanting although there were quite a lot of dead specimens. And I'm actually really glad that my mother and Stockmann seller got my buy a camera with tenfold zoom, not just triple.

The trip was really nice to me, even though I had a pretty bad feeling the entire trip back home. Quite many had been after that tour. Well, it is a trifle. The trip was excellent and I saw so many great things.

El primer viaje con YFU fue de la semana pasada. Fuimos al Oriente. Bueno primero  viajamos a Quito y dormimos allá una noche. Distancia al Oriente de Quito fue cinco horas.  viajamos en autobus y seguimos al hotel en los barcos. Nuestro hotel, Casa del Suizo, fue muy bonito. En Quito hubo demasiado frío, pero en Oriente hubo calor como acá en Portoviejo.

En el primer día no tuvimos ningún programa, entonces nos pasamos tiempo en la piscina. Y fuimos a caminar en pueblo. El viernes nos fuimos a caminar a selva. Eso fue divertido, interesante y nos vimos muchos paisajes muy lindos. A mí me gustan mucho los montañas. Es que en Finlandia no hay ningún, pero acá hay. O sea en Finlandia solo hay pequeños lomas. Pero no en mi ciudad...

En el segunfo día visitamos la estación de recate de animales Amazonicó. Allá fueron muchos pajaros muy lindos. Y  escuchamos muchos historias interesantes de los animales. Y por la tarde nos fuimos a casa de mariposas. Que lindo! A mi me encantan los mariposas! Y acá en Ecuador hay mariposas muy grandes y con muchos diferentes colores.

Hola!

Aika on mielenkiintoinen käsite. Aika on mennyt tosi nopeasti ja nyt on JO marraskuu. Mutta toisaalta kuluneisiin kuukausiin on mahtunut tosi paljon kaikkea. Olen kyllä ehtinyt jo tekemään kaikenlaista, ja oppinut tosi paljon uutta. Ja aika jännää on sekin, että jos ajattelen, että jokin asia on tapahtunut neljä viikkoa sitten, niin se ei tunnu niin kaukaiselta kuin jos sanon, että kuukausi sitten. En mä tiedä musta vaan tuntuu aina välillä, että aika lipuu mun käsistä.

No joo. Viime viikolla oli ystäväni Jenyn synttärit. Ja valmistimme hänelle Adrianan kanssa hienon jättikortin tai julisteen. En tiedä millä nimellä sitä pitäis kutsua. Meni koulun jälkeen Adriana kanssa kaupungille ostamaan askartelutarvikkeita ja sitten Adrianan kotiin. Siellä sitten askartelimme sitä korttia yli kaks tuntia ja tutustuin samalla Adrianan pikkusiskoon. Kortista tuli hieno vaikka itse sanonkin ja Jeny tykkäs siitä J

Myös Joelilla oli synttärit viime viikolla. Oikeaan synttäripäivään mennessä me ei ehditty tekee mitään. Kun me kolme Jenyn ja Adrianan kanssa ei löydetty mistään sopivaa aikaa, jolloin oltais voitu tehdä sitä. Mutta menimme Jenyn luo sunnuntaina sitten ja teimme Joelille sellaisen hienon vihon, joka oli täynnä kuvia, ystävyysfraaseja ja kaikenlaista kivaa.

Käytiin näköalapaikalla Jenyn ja Adrianan kanssa. Sieltä näki koko Portoviejon. Se oli aika hieno. Täytyy käydä siellä toisen kerran sit kun sateet on alkanu, ja myös pimeällä, kun valot on päällä. 

Ja sunnuntaina menimme Mantaan katsomaan MARC ANTHONYA!!! EN ollut aiemmin kuunnellut hirveesti sen musiikkia, muutaman kappaleen olin kuullut. Ja sit kun sain tietää, että me mennään kattomaan sitä, niin olin kuunnellut muutamia kappaleita lisää. Tykkäsin konsertista tosi paljon. En ole aikaisemmin ikinä käynyt niin isossa konsertissa. Paikalla oli ihan järkyttävästi porukkaa. Oltiin aika kaukana, mutta me ostettiin muutama muovituoli, niin niitten päällä seistessä näin sinne lavalle asti. Ja tietty kattelin sitä screeniä, joka oli aika lähellä. Keikka loppu joskus vartin yli yks yöllä ja oltiin kotona joskus kolmen aikoihin. Onneksi seuraava päivä koulussa oli tosi löysä.

Ens keskiviikkona me lähetään ajaa Quitoon heti aamusta sillä torstaina sukellamme Amazonin sademetsään!!! Ihan huippua, odotan innolla J

Täällä olen flunssassa punaisen nenän kanssa, jota aristaa, koska täytyy niistää 24/7… Nukun, katon jonkun leffan ja juon teetä, niin eiköhän se siitä. J

Time is strange thing. Time has ran really fast. Now it’s ALREADY November. But, I have done really many things during past few months. And learned much new things. And that’s also strange that if I say that something happened one four weeks ago, it doesn’t feel that bad that if I say that something happened one month ago. I don’t know I just feel that time is running too fast.

On last week was my friend’s Jeny’s birthday. We did her one gift with Adriana. I went to Adriana’s house after school and we did that card/poster more than two hours. I met Adriana’s little sister. The card was pretty and Jeny liked that J

Also Joel’s birthday was on last week. We didn’t do anything for the real birthday because we didn´t have time. But last Sunday we, Adriana and I, went to Jeny’s home and we did a little “book” to Joel. It was full of photos, phrases for friend and all kind of nice things for Joel.

On Sunday we went to watch MARC ANTHONY with my family!!! I hadn’t listened to his music really much before, only few songs. I liked the concert really much. That was my first time in big concert.  There was really much people. We were quite far from the stage, but there were many screens. And we had chairs so I could also see to the stage. We were at home about at 3 o’clock at the morning. Luckily next day at the school was easy.

Next Wednesday we will drive to Quito because on Friday we will go to the rainforest!!! Awesome, I’m really looking for that J

I have flu. I think that I will sleep, watch one movie and drink tea maybe that will help me J
